Savi® Transit Case Group (TCG)
Savi has developed the Transit Case Group which is a series of cases that support the requirement to deploy mobile RFID infrastructure in austere environments anywhere in the world with little time to prepare.
The Savi Transit Case Group includes ruggedized, reusable and waterproof encasements. The hardened transit case designs protect RFID equipment from water (rain, seawater, humidity, fog, etc.) and from damage if the case is dropped during loading and unloading, or exposed to harsh vibration while being transported over unpaved roads.
Two specialized types of TCGs are the Savi Portable Deployment Kit (PDK) and the Savi Early Entry Deployment Support Kit (EEDSK). Unlike other TCGs, the PDK and the EEDSK are operational out of the box with a laptop, mobile device, mobile reader, printer, software and communications equipment included. The difference between the PDK and the EEDSK is that the EEDSK comes with additional RFID infrastructure equipment necessary for setting up a standalone temporary chokepoint.
