Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop opportunities with key customers in need of using sensor data to help increase operational efficiencies, in-transit visibility, and make use of data to solve problems
  • Use applicable sales tools to effectively plan, communicate, and document progress as well as increase business opportunity in accounts
  • Manage process steps of the pipeline with a focus on next steps, action items, and milestone dates
  • Develop warm introductions within your network to open discussions about sensor data and how it can be used to solve problems with actionable information and analytics
  • Work with marketing to establish campaigns/white papers for promoting Savi’s solution offerings to potential customers
  • Identify opportunities for sales and effectively present the key features and advantages of the company to secure new business
  • Prospect and develop customers and pipeline by hunting for new opportunities daily, initiating opportunities with minimal supervision
  • Maintain all telesales/integrated marketing campaigns, detailed records, and new contacts daily in the CRM system
  • Meet and exceed quarterly quota targets at optimal profitability
  • Expertly forecast sales and pipeline

Professional Skills and Specifications:

  • Strong knowledge in track and trace technology for solving cargo theft and supply chain visibility issues
  • Strong knowledge of sensor technology and the use of sensor data to improve supply chain performance and risk
  • Experience selling global technology and service solutions to Fortune 500 companies
  • Experience in partner sales, including helping to reinforce and support the value proposition of mitigating risk associated with theft, spoilage, counterfeiting, diversion, pilferage, and more
  • Strong grasp on the logistic security services market, and understanding of the ideal prospect and process for sales engagement
  • Recognized year over year as top sales performer
  • Proven success managing multiple pursuits of $1M and more and identifying proper pipeline stage for optimal forecasting
  • Experience working with marketing to establish campaigns for promoting Savi’s solution offerings to potential customers

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience selling logistic security services and logistics and supply chain software
  • Able to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment

As a Logistics Supply Specialist at Savi, you will be on-site analyzing and assisting customers in the management of their logistics processes and systems.

  • Establish and monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurements systems such as in SAP and Oracle

  • Hand-on experience with multiple RDMS platforms, including spatial databases and with multi-node scale NoSQL clusters (e.g., Cassandra, Accumulo, HBase, Hadoop)
  • Hands-on experience using Hive, Impala, Presto and similar tools for SQL-like to explore large, distributed sets of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data

You should also have significant experience in several of the following areas:

  • Design and development of interactive analytics solutions
