President & CEO
Bill Clark joined Savi Technology in August 2010, and has served as President & CEO since January 2011. He is responsible for driving the Savi Technology strategy, bringing the operational analytics business model to market, and leading the organization to overall success and long-term profitability and growth. Clark brings more than 25 years of sales and marketing leadership in global technology. He has successfully built early stage venture-backed firms and run key functions in large enterprises in the technology industry.
Prior to Savi Technology, Clark was EVP and CMO at Deltek, a $500+ million enterprise software company serving commercial professional services firms and federal defense contractors. He led the positioning of Deltek as a leader in enterprise software that contributed to a successful IPO in 2007, a CAGR of more than 20%, and a number of strategic acquisitions.
Prior to that Bill Clark was Corporate VP of worldwide product marketing at Novell, a large infrastructure software company, where he established its first unified product marketing function and clear technology differentiation platform.
Bill Clark has a long history of success leading up to his more recent experience, including serving as EVP and CMO of Mantas. There he helped drive dramatic growth and put the company on the map from an awareness standpoint, leading to the sale of the company. He also led Worldwide Marketing at Bang Networks and was SVP of Worldwide Marketing and Business Development at Hyperion – a $500+ million global leader in enterprise business software.
Earlier in his career Clark was VP of Corporate Technology at JP Morgan and held several positions of increasing responsibility in sales, marketing and management during almost a decade at IBM.
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Brian Daum is responsible for Savi’s internal operations including finance & accounting, business operations, legal & contracts and human resources. He has 20 years of experience in all aspects of financial management and corporate development for fast growth companies, including executive management at venture capital-backed software companies.
Before joining Savi, Mr. Daum was the CFO at Centrifuge Systems, Inc. where he lead all finance, planning and analysis, pricing, legal, HR, corporate development and business operations. He also served as Chief Operating Officer/CFO at ARC Second (currently Nikon Instruments, Inc.) and led the transition of the company from an early-stage operation to a financially successful International business with leading customers in aerospace, automotive, shipbuilding, robotics and defense industries. Brian Daum has provided financial leadership at several organizations, including Multimedia Medical Systems, Sandbox.com and Atlantic Coast Airlines, where he successfully executed the company’s Initial Public Offering.
Prior to working in CFO roles, Daum launched his career at Ernst & Young LLP where he provided audit and business advisory services to a wide range of emerging businesses. He is a Board Member and Finance Committee Chair at Maryland’s popular Wisp Resort Hotel and Conference Center as well as a Finance Committee Member for the 60,000-member Reston Owners Association, VA.
Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Services
Scott Shaul is responsible for Savi’s global sales initiatives and business development strategy as well as professional services and support. He brings over 20 years of experience as an accomplished senior executive and visionary with demonstrated talent for managing sales, developing strategy, and streamlining business process.
Throughout his career, Shaul has developed successful relationships in the Government and Commercial service industry. Before joining Savi, he was Co-Founder and Vice President of Sales at Work Market, where he led sales and business development teams and developed transformative messaging and marketing materials.
Prior to Work Market, Shaul led a sales team of directors, channel sales, inside sales, pipeline development and regional sales managers, as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at govWin, Deltek’s government intelligence and business capture division. While at govWin, Shaul played a key role in developing the SaaS go to market plan, which included integration of Deltek CRM products for GovCon division.
Shaul holds a Bachelors of Science from the University of Maryland. He is married with two children, and enjoys coaching Youth Lacrosse.
Senior Vice President - Products and Strategy
Andy Souders brings more than 20 years of technology leadership to Savi as Senior Vice President, Products and Strategy. He has a strong technical foundation coupled with the expertise in business development, sales and marketing and mergers and acquisitions. Souders has a proven track record of growing and scaling businesses through innovation, building high performance teams and results-focused delivery. Souders will oversee Savi’s solution strategy including the hardware and software engineering teams, product management, and market management.
Before joining Savi, Souders was Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Emerging Technologies at Clarity Solution Group, a data and analytics organization recognized as one of the Inc. 500|5000 Fastest Growing Companies. At Clarity, Souders lead the vision, development and execution of Clarity’s product development and solutions strategy including two SaaS-based big data/data science offerings.
Souders additionally served as Chief Technology Officer and then as Senior Advisor at EZShield, where he was lead product innovation, application development and client integration for EZShield’s SaaS platform. Souders has provided leadership to several organizations, including NEW Asurion, Access National Corporation, Aol, EDS, KPMG and Collaborex.
Along with his wife and three sons, Souders is active in raising awareness and funding for cancer research.
Vice President, Marketing
As Vice President of Marketing for Savi Technology, Sidra is responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies to drive revenue growth, enter into new markets, and build awareness of the company. Sidra brings more than 15 years of high-tech marketing expertise working in both small startups and large global organizations. She has extensive experience in all aspects of software and IT services marketing.
Most recently, Sidra was the Vice President of Marketing and Inside Sales for Clarabridge, a high-growth SaaS company focused on business intelligence, text analytics and big data targeting Fortune 2000 companies. She was responsible for all aspects of marketing at the company including its annual user conference, C3.
Prior to Clarabridge, Sidra spent nearly five years at Deltek as Director, Product Marketing and Strategy, where she led the go-to-market strategy, planning and execution for the company’s ERP portfolio that generated $250M+ in annual revenues from enterprises & SMBs targeting project-based organizations.
Sidra has held various marketing and technology roles at GE Global eXchange Services. She holds a BA in political science from Tufts University and an MBA in marketing and finance from the University of Maryland.
Vice President & General Counsel
Previously Senior Counsel of Savi Technology, Jim Costello has overall responsibility for the legal affairs of the company. Costello played a key role in Savi’s recent divestiture and is instrumental in protecting Savi’s more than 40 patents. Prior to joining Savi Technology, he was Division Counsel for Applied Global Services, the services division of Applied Materials.
Jim Costello has been associated with three large international law firms, and also has served as in-house counsel at three leading technology companies. Costello has a BA from Rutgers University, an MBA from Baruch College and a JD from Fordham University School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in California, New York and New Jersey and is registered in-house counsel in Virginia.
Vice President, International Sales
Eric Gill is responsible for sales operations outside of North America. Eric brings to bear his ten years program management and sales experience with Savi across the suite of Automatic Identification Technology (AIT) enabling technologies that support focused logistics, total asset visibility (TAV) and the integration of global supply chains; this being preceded by 18 years experience of military logistics as a supply officer in the UK Royal Air Force (RAF) working in national, NATO and coalition environments.
Gill joined Savi in 2003 and has led a wide range of strategic activities as Director of International Programs. During the last two years he has managed Savi’s EMEA business and was responsible for the successful strategic alliance with SGS and subsequent sales and implementation of Savi Tracking for customs authorities in multiple African countries.
Eric has a Bachelor of Science degree from London University, a Masters degree from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology and also holds a certified diploma in accountancy and finance from the UK Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Jim Haughwout joined Savi Technology in December 2013, in this newly created role. Haughwout is responsible for shaping Savi’s technology direction and roadmap, contributing to Savi’s machine learning and artificial intelligence, and evangelizing the company’s solutions.
He has 22 years of experience designing and implementing large-scale web and data platforms (400+ million transactions per year, 10,000+ complex events per second, multiple petabytes of data in size). This includes 18 years using a wide range of “Big Data” technologies, 12 years in complex event processing and machine learning-driven systems, 10 years in analytics and reporting, 8 years in SaaS, Mobile and Sensor technology.
Prior to joining Savi, Haughwout was Senior Vice President of Engineering & Operations at CustomMade Ventures, a Google Ventures portfolio company. Prior to CustomMade, he was Vice President of Commercialization & Technology at Cmed Technology, a life-sciences mobile and cloud provider specializing in data, and Chief Information Officer & Vice President of Technology at INgage Networks, an award-winning enterprise social network and mobile company.
His passion is using data and technology to create products and platforms that let people discover new items of interest, do things they have never been able to do before, and overcome “unsolvable” problems.
Haughwout is a graduate of MIT (SB in aeronautical and astronautical engineering) and Harvard University (MPP). Haughwout enjoys travel, hiking, cooking and photography.
Vice President, Federal Sales & Strategy
Rosemary Johnston oversees operations, sales operations, systems support, and governance assistance for Savi Technology. She supervises a team of sales operations, information systems, business systems, and customer relationship managers. Johnston has been with Savi Technology since 2006 and has held a variety of positions in services and support, business process improvement,business integration and transition, and information technology systems.
Prior to joining Savi Technology, Johnston was business unit director at Dynamics Research Corporation, a consulting firm that provides technology management services to the federal government, including the Department of Homeland Security.
Johnston’s understanding of the military supply chain and logistics market comes from a distinguished career in both commercial enterprises and her 23-year service in the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force, Johnston was responsible for the development of key wartime logistics planning concepts, establishment of supply policies that impacted the depth and breadth of retail and wholesale supply, and the conduct of a number of planning and forecasting analyses. As the US Air Force Supply Career Field Manager (1995-1999), she developed training, staffing, and recruitment programs for 35,000 Air Force and civilian personnel within the supply logistics career field. Johnston chaired the US Air Force Supply Chiefs Advisory Board, US Air Force Supply Training Team, and US Air Force Supply Wartime Requirements workgroups. Her support of military logistics and supply chain disciplines continues with her work in the commercial sector with development and maintenance of key logistics information systems, used to provide warfighters with critical weapon system availability. Johnston chaired the Supply Chain Council’s Aerospace and Defense working group, which focused on further development of the SCOR Model and use of RFID technology to support and enhance in-transit visibility.
She has a BS from Troy State University and an MBA from University of Phoenix. Johnston holds certification from Defense Acquisition University in Product Lifecycle Management, Acquisition Professional Development and Logistics Management Professional Development as well as a Master Certificate in Applied Project Management from Villanova University and a Master Certificate in Business Development from MBDi.
Vice President - Professional Services
As Vice President, Mitch Miller leads the Savi Professional Services organization. In this role Mitch is responsible for providing technical Pre-Sales support to the America’s Sales organization as well as the implementation and on-site support of Savi Solutions. This is an important role within Savi in that Mitch’s organization is responsible for solving customer challenges and helping them to achieve their goals.
Mitch has nearly 20 years of experience in supply chain management and consulting services in automatic identification technologies and logistics software. He joined Savi Technology in 2003 and has successfully led Services and Pre-Sales project teams to design and implement RFID and wireless tracking solutions for large defense and commercial customers. Mitch manages all aspects of project delivery including process design, testing, documentation and user training.
Prior to joining Savi, Mitch served as a Supply Chain Consultant and WMS (Warehouse Management System) Team Lead for IBM. There he was responsible for implementing warehouse management applications from multiple vendors for multiple clients. Mitch provided leadership guidance to clients for all project-related activities, including documentation, risk assessments, testing, training and complete knowledge transfer.
Before IBM, he worked for EXE Technologies, a company that develops software focused on supply chain execution processes, including warehouse management, fulfillment, collaboration, inventory management, and supply network execution. Mitch played an active role in helping customers develop new business processes using the WMS and managed the system configuration, testing, training and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Miller holds a Packaged Solutions Integration Certification from IBM and is a graduate of Simpson College in Iowa.
