As part of its overall licensing program, Savi is actively promoting a licensing option for intellectual property that is included in the ISO 18000-7 active RFID standard. As ISO 18000-7 is quickly becoming the worldwide standard for all active RFID products, participants in Savi's ISO 18000-7 RAND (Reasonable and Non-Discriminatory) licensing program gain access to intellectual property that enables licensees to build and sell products based on this standard.

The ISO 18000-7 standards enhance compatibility and encourage interoperability of products for the growing RFID market in the international marketplace. Participation in Savi’s licensing program enables greater network-wide visibility, value and security of shipments transported through the extended global supply chain.
