SmartChain Site Manager is a fundamental building block for a real-time supply chain solution, providing an integrated, location-level software system for the configuration and management of RFID reader networks and the management of data collected by RFID and other data collection devices.
SmartChain Site Manager collects the large amounts of tag data read by Savi's active RFID hardware readers, as well as a range of data from third party automatic data collection sources including passive RFID readers, bar-code scanners and Global Positioning Systems. SmartChain Site Manager reads in the data and converts to a common format enabled by Savi's Universal Data Appliance Protocol, (UDAP). SmartChain Site Manager filters and removes duplicate and unneeded RFID reads from the data flow and stores the data until exported to SmartChain Enterprise Platform or other enterprise systems.
