How do I place an Order

Q: How do I enroll for Savi Knowledge Center course or products?
A: There are several ways you can enroll for a course. First enable pop-up blockers.

    1. You can register for a class directly from the class schedule website by clicking register; you will be prompted to login. Once logged in, the class details page will open up and you can confirm your registration.
    2. You can login directly to the LMS site at - savi.sololearning.com. Once logged in you can search for the class of your choice by using the course catalog. Drill down to the class of your choice and click the date to register for the class.


    Q: How do I know my order was confirmed?

    A: You will receive e-mail confirmation notification only for instructor-led & virtual training course orders. These notifications serve as your receipt, so please print and save them for your records. If you do not receive e-mail confirmation of your course within 24 hours, please send a message to registrar@savi.com or 888-994-7284 select option 3.

    Paying for an Order

    Q: How do I pay for a course or products?
    A: Savi Knowledge Center accepts PO’s, Visa & Mastercard. Our Learning Management System currently accepts PO’s online. Credit Card payment will be available online Fall 2007. If you would like to pay using a credit card please contact us directly at registrar@savi.com or 888-994-7284 select option 3.

    Q: What happens if I don’t send payment in time?
    A: Purchase Orders (POs) are required at time of registration. All POs should be sent directly to Savi Knowledge Center at registrar@savi.com or via fax at 650-316-4716 attn: Savi Knowledge Center

    Q: Is it possible to receive an invoice before the start time?
    A: Savi Knowledge Center does not generate invoices until after the course has ended.

    Cancellation / Reschedule Policies

    Q: How can I cancel or reschedule a course?
    A: If you are unable to attend a class for which you have registered, you will be liable for partial class tuition if you do not notify Savi Knowledge Center two business days prior to the scheduled start date of your class. Substitute attendees are welcome. If you need to cancel a training session, please contact us at registrar@savi.com or 888-994-7284 select option 3 to avoid the cancellation charges.

    Q: Can a different person from my company attend the class in my place?
    A: If someone else will be attending in your place, please cancel your registration in the manner described above and have the new student register using his or her own training login ID. If you encounter problems with this process, please contact us directly at registrar@savi.com or 888-994-7284 select option 3.

    Q: Will Savi Knowledge Center notify me if a class needs to be cancelled or rescheduled?
    A: Savi Knowledge Center reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes two weeks prior to start of class. Students will be notified if a course needs to be cancelled or rescheduled.

    Getting Ready for Instructor Led Training

    Q: What do I need to bring with me to class?
    A: All required learning materials are provided in the classroom.

    Q: Is there any preparation work required?
    A: Preparation for training events is always helpful, but it is not required. If there are pre-requisite course requirements indicated in the course description, then those do apply and should be completed in advance of the class.

    Q: What is the required attire?
    A: Casual attire is recommended.

    Q: Can I access the Internet to check my e-mail from the classroom computer?
    A: You may bring your laptop and use the designated cubing available onsite.

    Q: Can I buy the course materials separately?
    A: No, Savi Knowledge Center course materials are not available for sale outside of classroom training. You must attend the class to receive the materials.

    Q: What is the address and phone number of my training location? What hotels do you recommend?

    Q: What time does the class start?
    A: The class start time is indicated in your Class Confirmation e-mail letter.
    In general, Savi Knowledge Centers open at 8:30 am daily, with classes starting at 9:00 am. Classes end at approximately 5:00 pm daily.

    Learning Management System

    Q: How do I create an account?
    A: Click on First Time User button, fill out the form and submit. You will be tied to a default group until Savi Knowledge Center confirms your account and assigns you to the appropriate group (i.e. Your Company). During the wait period you will have access to the site with limited viewing.

    Q: How can I change my password?
    A: This can be done in the “My profile” tab once you’ve logged in. Simply enter your new password into the field and re-confirm the new password and select save.

    Q: I forgot my password, who can reset it?
    A: The system can automatically reset it for you by clicking on Forgot your Password or Want to change your password. You can also request Savi Knowledge Center to reset at registrar@savi.com or 888-994-7284 option 3.

    Q: Can I print my transcripts for my records?
    A:  Absolutely, under the reports tab -> transcripts report you have an option to print or download to excel.

    General Information

    Q: Where are the Savi Technology Inc., training centers located?
    A: In the United States, we have two locations, in Sunnyvale, CA and Herndon, VA.

    Q: Are training classes available at my location?
    A: For your convenience, of our instructor-led courses can be delivered onsite, at your location. To register for any onsite training, please plan on eight weeks in advance. This option is particularly cost-effective for customers who have at least 10 students to be trained. We require confirmation of the required equipment checklist and payment prior to scheduling and confirming a date for the onsite course. Once the date is firmly scheduled, our cancellation policy becomes effective. For more information, please fill out the onsite request form.

    Q: Can someone else use my self-paced course?
    A: Enrolling in any Savi Knowledge Center e-learning self-paced training course entitles the owner to a single-use, nontransferable license to use the course.

    • Exchange of any Savi Knowledge Center online e-learning license for the same materials on CD-ROM is prohibited.
    • Exchange of any Savi Knowledge Center CD-ROM e-learning license for the same materials online is prohibited.
